Govt Polytechnic College Doda- 28/04/2023. Under the special summary revision 2023 (SVEEP). Election Awareness Program organised by Election Cell Doda in collaboration with Govt Polytechnic College Doda. Nodal officer (SVEEP) Er. Sanjeevan Singh awared the students about their involvement in election to choose a Govt by their valuable Vote and their Right to Vote. He also advised to get register themselves as voter for their participation in Democracy. Staff members Er Varinder Kumar & Azeem Javed of college and some Students showed light on the topic. Camp Ambassadors Rajan Kumar & Rozia Banoo gave their enthusiastic participation in awareness and managing the program. For Registration as Voter Form 6 and for correction form 8 were also distributed among students and staff.

Government Polytechnic College Doda has conducted a seminar in collaboration with JKEDI Department Doda on 29-04-2023 on the topic "Enterpreneurship Awareness" Dr Imtiyaz Ahmad (District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Doda) along with Mr. Aabid Hussain office Associate was the resource person. Dr Imtiyaz Ahmad District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Doda enlightened the students about various Government Schemes for supporting Entrepreneur. The students also had an interactive session with the experts, their doubts are satisfactorily cleared and relevant information disseminated. The faculty, staff members and students of 2nd, 4th & 6th sem civil & OMCA were present on this occasion. At last Er Verinder Kumar Demonstrator Civil Engineer express vote of thanks.

Job Fair organized in District Doda at Community Hall for Unemployed Youth ,over 100 youth participated in the drive

District Employment and Counseling Centre, Doda motivated individuals to become self reliant and also provided them with career counselling knowledge

Doda, February 27 : In a set of events set by the government of UT of J&K, "Youth Volunteer Programme" is one that strives to persuade individuals to self employment . Hunar Foundation in association with District Employment and Counseling Centre Doda organised this placement drive .

The event was inaugurated by A.Director, Employment Doda. Various companies pertaining various avenues like Hotel Business, overseas jobs etc participated.

More than 15 unemployed youth from District Doda got shortlisted in Hotel Business as per the requirements. Drive was carried out for recruitment under posts like Front Desk Managers, event organizers,Junior Staff etc.

As per the directions issued by Director Employment JK , employment generation in far flung areas shall be the first priority of the Department of Employment.

Deputy Director DECC,Doda who also interacted with the unemployed youth and motivated them to garner this golden opportunity of Placement Drive.

On 18th of December 2021, the 5th semester students of polytechnic college Doda visited the testing laboratory setup by "E5 infrastructure private limited" at khellani. The company is at present constructing the highway. The engineers at the site demonstrated many latest equipments. The students also performed some tests in the presence of experts provided by company.
